I’m excited to officially step into a new chapter with @sanctumforge
Boxing has been part of my life since 2003.
What started as a sport eventually took me around the world — becoming German National Champion, representing Germany at three European Championships and a World Championship, and later continuing my career in Australia, where I became a two-time Queensland Professional Champion and Australian Professional Champion.
After competing came coaching.
I had the opportunity to lead and develop an amateur boxing team at Fortitude Boxing in Brisbane, and over the years my understanding of what boxing can give someone has continued to evolve.
Because for me, boxing has never only been about fighting.
It taught me discipline, resilience, courage and the ability to keep showing up when things get uncomfortable.
My work through AMEND Movement and counselling has taken that understanding even deeper — helping me understand the person behind the fighter and how much our patterns, emotions and experiences influence the way we show up in life.
That’s one of the reasons Sanctum Forge resonated with me.
Paul has created a space that sees boxing not only as a sport, but as a tool for transformation.
And I’m looking forward to bringing my experience as a fighter, coach and counsellor into that space.
From next week, I’ll be coaching boxing and youth sessions at Sanctum Forge, with strength and bodyweight sessions also coming Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
A new chapter. Same love for the craft.
Looking forward to meeting everyone, sharing what I’ve learned over the last 20+ years, and continuing to learn alongside you.
See you in the gym.
